5 years into my event career, my creative identity took new shape.
In 2017, I began leveraging my marketing expertise developed with Pacific Records, video production learned from Tonight in San Diego and my passion for live events to begin creating video content around the music industry, EDM community and live event space. I taught myself how to video edit, collaborated with a handpicked team of video creators and started a festival YouTube channel to begin putting out content at scale (more on that below).
In 2018, I built a studio in my garage to begin creating event industry content for a professional audience. These videos would garner the attention of event conference producer XLIVE (now owned by LDI).
In 2019, I partnered with XLIVE to co-produce a monthly news roundup video series for their audience of live event professionals, experiential producers and event technologists - all filmed in the garage of yours truly. By the end of the year, I accepted an invitation to join them at their annual summit in Vegas as a creator and correspondent where I conducted video interviews with industry thought leaders across their roster of panelists.
In 2020, during the TikTok-ification of the internet, a few viral videos attracted the attention of LUNCHBOX hydration packs. For the next two and a half years, I would produce nearly 150 videos for the festival apparel and lifestyle brand, playing an early role in the their rise to a household name in the EDM community and the official hydration pack of EDC Las Vegas 2025.
In 2021, I was well into the UGC ecosystem as a brand partner and content creator, foraying beyond my live event roots by working with CPG and apparel brands like BeatBox Beverages, Bylt Basics, Vitaly, and iEDM.
In 2023, I took on a new kind of video role as a content producer for San Diego-based restaurant group, Puffer Malarkey Collective, where I helped tell the stories of the food, spaces and people behind their highly sought-after culinary experiences.
In 2024, I started the friends u haven’t met podcast, once again filmed in a DIY home studio (but upgraded to the living room this time around). So far I’ve interviewed one musical artist, four CEO’s and a photographer/videographer who has toured with some of the biggest DJ’s and at the biggest music festivals in the US.
And now it’s 2025. I’m still making things. I picked up photography along the way. 7.1 million views across personal platforms, 8.5 million including brand work. Clients, content partners and podcast guests have expanded to include Love on the Spectrum’s Connor Tomlinson and Tanner Smith (Main Cast, Seasons 1-Present), a handful of CEO’s and even my chiropractor.
