TONIGHT IN SAN DIEGO

Talent Manager, Seasons 2-4 (2015-2017) - 105 episodes

My two and a half years with San Diego late night talkshow Tonight in San Diego are among my most treasured work experiences. In addition to being an incredibly fulfilling and wildly fun production to work on, surrounded by some of the most creative, talented and dedicated entertainment professionals I’ve had the privilege of working with, it was also an invaluable networking tool early in my career and a thrilling, fast-paced niche that broadened my professional horizons in the most fun way possible.

I’m the type of person who learns through repetition, and it’s at TISD where I got my 10,000 hours. As a multi-faceted production creative who is generally interested in how almost anything is made, playing a key role (and rare cast member) for the production of over 100 episodes taped in front of a live audience taught me countless lessons across production, content creation, talent management, sponsorships/partnerships, business development, stage management, marketing, real networking and relationship building in the local entertainment market, was my first exposure to all things video, and so, so much more. And I also came out of it with life long friends. I have so much love for those guys. But I digress…

In traditional late night format, Tonight in San Diego featured multiple guests and one musical performance, filmed in front of a live audience nearly every Monday night for 5 years. Tonight in San Diego made its television debut in May of 2016 during its 4th season on KSDY ch. 50. In January of 2017, Tonight in San Diego began to air on the CW6 San Diego.

In my talent manager role, I managed all areas elements regarding on-screen talent including booking, guest research, advances, production, interview prep, day of show camera training, greenroom coordination, rehearsals, musical performances and special presentations/demonstrations of any kind (and there were many kinds)
